Our Overnight Stops
Tavistock Rugby Football Club
Tavistock Rugby Club is the first club to host the Great British Bike Ride on Wednesday 1st of September 2010. The club has a range of great facilities, which will make the experience a very enjoyable and relaxing one after the first days ride.
Tavy RFC run all Junior age groups Under 7s through Under 16s, Ladies Under 16 and Under 18, Colts and three Senior men’s teams. The 1st XV compete in the Western Counties (West) league. The club has great facilities which can be hired for weddings, birthdays etc.

Ivel Barbarians Rugby Football Club - Based at Yeovil, Somerset and our overnight stop at the end of Stage Two.
Ivel Barbarians will be hosting the Lexus Great British Bike Ride at the end of Stage Two on the 2nd of September. The facilities are second to none, with a great camping site, plenty of hot showers, good food and a bar to go with it. We are sure this will be a very entertaining night for all involved with the Lexus Great British Bike Ride 2010.

Winchester Rugby Football Club - Our third overnight stop at the end of Stage Three.
With Twickenham in sight, Winchester is the last port of call, a great place to recover and enjoy the last night. The Club pride themselves on a flexible approach to any function and they have the ability to handed all kinds of meetings, seminars and parties including the Lexus Great British Bike Ride.

Esher Rugby Football Club - Our fourth and final overnight stop at the end of Stage Three
With Twickenham in sight, Esher is the last port of call and the Club have promised to ensure that we will have a great evening's entertainment before the last few miles to Harlequins and then on to Twickenham Stadium. Breakfast on Saturday will be a relaxed affair and we have no need for an early departure, so Friday promises to provide a great opportunity to 'let your hair down', have a few drinks and celebrate your successful completion of this challenging event.
The Mission of Esher RFC is to compete successfully in Championship Rugby whilst maintaining ‘grass roots' rugby. The club offers rugby to all standards and we welcome all players, whatever your skills or ability, there will always be a game for you. We also invite non playing Members to join our strong supporter base, for those who want to watch high quality rugby and enjoy a beer or two and a chat with friends. Help for Heroes - Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young people who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help.
