Our Overnight Stops
Tavistock Rugby Football Club
Tavistock Rugby Club is the first club to host the Great British Bike Ride on Wednesday 1st of September 2010. The club has a range of great facilities, which will make the experience a very enjoyable and relaxing one after the first days ride.
Tavy RFC run all Junior age groups Under 7s through Under 16s, Ladies Under 16 and Under 18, Colts and three Senior men’s teams. The 1st XV compete in the Western Counties (West) league. The club has great facilities which can be hired for weddings, birthdays etc.

Ivel Barbarians Rugby Football Club - Based at Yeovil, Somerset and our overnight stop at the end of Stage Two.
Ivel Barbarians will be hosting the Lexus Great British Bike Ride at the end of Stage Two on the 2nd of September. The facilities are second to none, with a great camping site, plenty of hot showers, good food and a bar to go with it. We are sure this will be a very entertaining night for all involved with the Lexus Great British Bike Ride 2010.

RPA Benevolent Fund - The RPA Benevolent Fund, The Players' Charity was established in 2001 (as the PRA Benevolent Fund) to provide financial support for players who have been forced to retire from the game due to serious injury or illness, and support players’ families in the event of their untimely death.
